The LAZY LIZARD ROCK Bed & Breakfast policies are in place for the comfort, protection, and safety of all guests. A reservation made indicates that you agree to follow these policies.
SMOKING: This is a nonsmoking facility. Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere inside this facility nor in the seating areas outside if any other guests are present. Guests who choose to disobey this policy and smoke inside the house will be assessed a minimum $250 cleaning fee for each room that smells of smoke. This is for the health and comfort of ALL guests--especially those who have allergies and or heart and lung related health problems--as well as the safety of the Coronado National Forest. Individuals who start a fire in the National Forest are responsible for the cost of extinguishing the fire.
CHECK-IN: All guests are welcomed to check in 3 - 7 pm, and must check-out by noon. If your airport arrival or departure requires that you check in or out at a different time, please notify us in advance.
PETS: For the comfort of all guests, please do not bring pets.
CHILDREN: Children of all ages are welcome! We do insist that all children hiking or playing outside have parental supervision. There are wild animals including bobcats and mountain lions living on our mountain and we want our guests to be safe as well as we want to safeguard the habitat of local flora and fauna.
CANCELLATION: Your credit card will be charged the full amount of your stay at the time of confirming your reservation. Cancellations made 21-days in advance of your check-in date will be refunded -- minus a $25./per room fee. Cancellations requested with 14 - 20 days advance notice prior to check-in date will lose one night’s deposit per room cancelled and the rest will be refunded. Cancellations made with less than 7 days in advance of the check-in date will not be refunded, but upon request may be given a certificate for a future stay.
MINIMUM STAY: We do not currently require a minimum stay except in the Periwinkle Suite and the Bridal Suite, where there is a 2-night minimum stay. Regardless of late check-in or early departure, guest is responsible for payment for all reserved dates.
KITCHEN USE: Guests are not permitted to use The LAZY LIZARD ROCK Bed & Breakfast’s kitchen. However, each guestroom and suite does have a snack area complete with microwave oven, toaster, mini-refrigerator, coffeemaker, and snack basket. The mini-refrigerator is filled with assorted juices, sodas, bottled water, cheese, and fruit which is provided for guest use at no extra charge.
MEETINGS: No meetings will be conducted in The GATHERING Room or other seating areas inside or outside of the house without prior permission having been granted in writing. This includes church meetings or services, weddings, conventions.
DAMAGE: Damage and or theft to house and/or its contents will result in full repair/placement cost assessed to guest, including legal fees if necessary. If you like decorations, art work, bathrobes, or other household items, please inquire regarding their purchase. We strive to offer guests a great place to stay with great rates. Please be respectful of our home and policies, and be considerate of other guests.
